#UlsterTower100

One of the paintings from a triptych painted by artist Paul Banning RI RSMA, shows the view over the Ancre to Thiepval based on Fourth Army panorama No. 59 from Charles Avenue.

The view incorporates the ground assaulted by the 36th (Ulster) Division on 1st July 1916 and where the Ulster Tower proudly stands today.

The triptych was painted for and exhibited in the Armed Forces Art Society exhibition of 2014 at The Mall Galleries, London and is now in the Somme Museum Collection.
