This photograph from the 13^th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles pilgrimage to the battlefields in 1956 is labelled, ‘Comrades’ – H. Dempster and W. Hedley at the Ulster Tower, Thiepval 1956.

On this trip Hugh Dempster 13^th RIR, a farmer from Moneyrea visited the grave of his brother Rifleman Andrew John Dempster killed on the 1^st July 1916 aged 25 and buried in Suzanne Military Cemetery.
