These two Lambeg Drums were commissioned by Conlig Drumming Club to show the connection of the Club’s local history. Members David McWhirter and Robert Paden played the drums in the grounds of the Ulster Tower in July 2016 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of The Battle of the Somme.
One drum depicts Helen’s Tower which stands above the village of Conlig, while the other is the Ulster Memorial Tower.
