This photograph from an album entitled ‘The Pilgrimage to the Battlefield 1956’ shows veterans of the 13^th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles gathered at the Cenotaph in Belfast for a ceremony prior to leaving for the Somme battlefields and a visit to the Ulster Tower.
